NORRSYSTEMS KOREA FULL MISSION ENGINE ROOM SIMULATOR WITH TOUCHSCREEN SOLUTION
The new version of the full mission engine room simulator with the hardware consoles and the multiple touch screens has been installed .
All touchscreens responsible for the 3D visualization are built in hardware consoles now.
All engine room models with 3D engine room visualization can be run in this new hardware configuration.
Console with 65′ touchscreen for the engine room 3D visualization with 23′ navigation touchscreen
Console with six 22′ touchscreens for the ECR console
Console for the main switchboard with five 42′ touchscreens and one 23′ navigation touchscreen.
Console with 55′ touchscreen for the emergency generator and emergency switchboard
Instructor station with additional monitoring system based on four camerassimulator
NORRSYSTEMS KOREA has released recently several new products which extend the scope of offered engine room simulators.
The following new products are available for purchase:
Virtual Engine Room 6 (VER6) is a PC-based full mission engine room simulator which includes two main engine models: a conventional, camshaft controlled low speed diesel and an electronically controlled version of this
Engine Room Console 6 (ERC6) is engine room simulator with a single desktop hardware console. The modelled main engine model is a conventional, camshaft controlled low speed diesel
Engine Room Console 6 XL (ERC6 XL) is engine room simulator with a single standalone hardware console. The modelled main engine model is a conventional, camshaft controlled low speed diesel
DE3D Engine Room Simulator has been based on engine room with diesel
electric propulsion system (four diesel generators, two main azimuth thrusters, one retractable and one bow thruster).
NORRSYSTEMS KOREAFULL MISSION ENGINE ROOM SIMULATORS WITH TOUCHSCREEN SOLUTION

We have accomplished instructors training and software installation in Chung ang High School.
SIMULATOR
1. FMSS (Full Mission Shiphandling Simulator) and FFBSS (Fishing Full Bridge Simulator System)
Navigation simulators by NSK and STSTC allow to train of watch officers, chief officers, captains and pilots serving on all direction, including: radar observation and plotting, automatic radar plotting aids, electronic charting, manoeuvring and ships control.
Navigating simulators can be grouped according to requirements of any customer.
It consists of :
▪ Control computer system
▪ Operators working places (bridges) with subsystem
▪ Instructor working place
▪ Software with set of exercises
▪ Technical documentation & etc.
2. GMDSS (Global Maritime Distress and Safety System)
Simulator of GMDSS is designed for training and examining ship radio specialists and sea navigators for a General Operator Certificate (GOC) or Restricted Operator Certificate (ROC).
The GMDSS simulator provides training of GMDSS specialists according to the requirements of the IMO Resolution A.703 (17) dated 06.11.1991 and STSW 95. GMDSS simulator has certificate of equipment type approval.
3. ECDIS (Electronic Chart Display and Information systems)
Our ECDIS are extremely efficient mean of navigation, which significantly reduce the workload of the officers on watch, thus allowing them to devote more time to the observation of the surroundings and to the navigation of the ship. The ECDIS is unique means of navigation, particularly as far as the automatic activation of the alarm signal upon the detection of dangerous objects marked on the chart is concerned. Considering that nearly 50% of all accidents are the result of navigational errors (this figure varies significantly depending on the region), the cost of the cartographic systems is undoubtedly justified.
4. Radar/ARPA (Automatic Radar Plotting Aid)
Our Radar/ARPA can create tracks using radar contacts. The system can calculate the tracked object's course, speed and CPA (Closest Point of Approach), thereby knowing if there is a danger of collision with the other ship or landmass.
Our Radar/ARPA provides the simulation of surface situation formed by the vessels, the targets with independent elements of motion, controlled by instructor or program-driven; by coastline of particular area (the Sound, English Channel, cape Skagen, island Bornholm), wind and current, interference for radar observation, specific bottom depths. The imitator of Radar/ARPA is based on a digital monitor with control panel.
The radar picture looks very realistic and include following elements and effects: coastlline, traffic ship with appropriate echo size, racons, SART beacons, navigational marks, sea clutter, rain clutter etc.
