<Crankcase relief valve's Function>
• Relief valves type HWG protect man and engine in the event of an explosion
• AS internal pressure of the MAIN ENGINE & GENERATOR have became more than 0.05bar, The disc is opened and the
excess pressure gas and flames were emitted.
• Relief valve disconnects oil & gas and prevents the emission of flames.
• Relief vavle returns oil disconnected to the inside crankcase
• Crankcase relief valve's Function
1. Crankcase relief valve protect man and engines in the event of an explosion of diesel engines. In the event of an explosion.
Relief valve opens immediately to protect the crankcase damage thus preventing a secondary explosion
2. Crankcase relief valve closes absolutely tight after explosion thus preventing oxygen or dirt to get entrained
into the crankcase.
