Description	Glove valve is one of the linear action valves. Glove valves products are more varied than the gate valves because of its applicability. The fluid movement through the valve seat is in the same direction as the operation direction of the obturator. Only the disk can move the short distance to completely release the valve, which results in faster opening of the glove valve than a gate valve. Hence this is advantage to any occasion that requires frequent valve operations. However, it demands the change in fluid direction that results in resistance, creating turbulence. Therefore, glove valve results in more pressure loss than glove valve.
