Fishing Equipment
Marine Instruments buoy follow-up or MSB, is a software specializing in displaying data sent by the Marine Instrument buoys. This is a highly intuitive software that makes it possible to carry out a swift follow-up of the data on buoys in order to identify the best zones possible for catching tuna. MSB displays the buoys on a sea chart to give immediate orientation. It also gives a direct display of other data sent by the buoys from their location, such as water temperature, height and direction of the waves, direction and derivation of the buoy and an icon of the fishing sounder, if included. Tele-commands can also be sent to the buoys with the MSB in an intuitive manner in order to obtain data from the buoys at more regular intervals or in order to schedule sending data from the sounder. Although MSB has a plotter with high quality C-MAP maritime charts, these charts are not recognized by international maritime laws as charts valid for navigation, so that it is unadvisable to use them for such a purpose.
