DSME e-Smart Drillship

Based on DSME’s construction performance of various drilling rigs, DSME has developed an e-SMART drillship design which applies eco-friendly & customer focused technology. DSME has accumulated design & construction capability in building all kinds of drilling rigs, including semi-submersible drilling rigs for the rough North Sea and arctic drillships for Polar Regions.

The drilling rigs built and delivered by DSME include various types from ultra-deepwater drillships that can drill up to 1,200 m to jack-up rigs for drilling in shallow water. DSME has left an indelible mark on the history of the Offshore Drilling Rig industry by successfully constructing and delivering the latest delivered jack-up rig which is the world's largest.
