When any marine vessel is built, it is necessary to design residing space for passengers and staff members. DECOMARINE's customized "unit" for living space construction is manufactured and assembled in our factory and then loaded onto the ship and installed. This cutting-edge technology saves over 35% of construction costs. A prefabricated cabin has wall and ceiling panels, unit toilets, doors, furniture, lightings, air-conditioning and ventilation systems, fire alarms, carpet, and windows. All these components are integrated and installed as one attached unit.
Each cabin module include walls & ceiling panels, cabling, lights, telephone sockets, furniture, air conditioning & ventilation, sprinkler piping and the toilet unit. When the steel construction of the deckhouse is ready to onboard the ship and the main lines and insulation have been installed, the self-supporting cabin unit is lifted in one piece through a suitable opening in the ship. The cabin unit is then ready to be fixed to the deck and connected to the ships mains. All connections are located in the service area of the shower room, which is accessible from the corridor.
